The Twilight
Lakeview Cottage
Named after Alexander Lucius Twilight, a native Vermonter, who was the first African-American college graduate in 1823 and the nation’s first African-American state legislator. He built what is currently known as the Old Stone House Museum, now owned and operated by the Orleans County Historical Society. The museum is a short drive from the WilloughVale Inn and worth a visit.
